If you're looking for secluded beaches, an unpopulated tropical paradise, few tourists, no traffic, no cruise ships, and you're "shopping-challenged", THIS AIN'T THE PLACE FOR YOU.... In all fairness there are a couple of secluded beaches but you're better off looking for them on St John.

If, on the other hand, you are a real tourist and not ashamed of it, St Thomas is definitely the place for "duty-free" shopping, good food, nice clear waters and a brand new mega-yacht marina with name-brand apparel.

You can start your Virgin Island crewed charter in St Thomas if the following is true:

1. There are 6 or fewer guests in your group.
2. The crew of you charter vessel have US visas and have checked in appropriately.

Many of our guests like to spend a night or two here before or after their charter - to get a feel for the islands, to decompress, and start their vacation in a good frame of mind after the long flight. Highly recommended.
