St. Croix is a little "out-of-the-way" for Yacht Charters - there are no major charter companies based on this island and the 40 mile stretch of water between St Thomas and St. Croix can be pretty rough at times so traditional crewed yacht itineraries do not include St Croix.

St Croix, the largest of the US Virgin Islands, lies like an emerald in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. It has a unique culture, friendly people and a colourful history. It's beautiful beaches and other recreational activities offer a vacation experience that is certainly more laid-back than St Thomas or St John.

This island, nevertheless, offers a slower paced vacation - there are many good hotels and restaurants and, of course, the Buck Island undersea national park is a mecca for divers and snorkelers.
